Becca Robison: No Boundaries Science Camps for Girls

Becca is the perfect example of a girl who knows how to turn a dream into reality. Better yet, she knows how to share this dream with others. At just 10 years old, she started her very own space camp. Becca had joined one before and begun her own, as it had motivated her to become an astronaut and she wanted to show young girls how great science could be. She got more and more requests for her camps to be organized. Now, her venture has gained so much attention that she’s been all over the USA and even abroad. She has appeared in People Magazine, Teen People, on ABC and has even met the president. Her venture has also won many awards, enabling Becca to share her mission to girls around the world.

Keith Davis: Keith David Jr. Foundation

Keith Davis is only 16 years old, but already working hard to make his foundation a success. Keith started his foundation to empower, educate and motivate youth and teens. They do this by supporting teens in raising money for summer camps, purchasing school clothes for the less fortunate. They also aim to give youth and teens hands on experience in money management by opening saving accounts.

Chris Deguara: StyleFurn

Chris Deguara (26) grew up camping and water skiing as a youngster. Growing up in an outdoors environment enabled him to see things in nature not many other people can see. After learning the upholstery trade from his father, Chris decided to study furniture design at TAFE. Now, his work has already earned him many awards, among which Awards of distinction, woodwork, metalwork jewellery, outdoor education and Apprentice of the Year. His ‘Astro lounge’ earned him recognition as a student finalist in the 2003 Australian Furniture of the Year Awards.

Dave and Luigi: Mousse

David and Luigi have been throwing their own parties under the name ‘Mousse’ for a year now. They bought their first turntables and started playing at a party at David’s High School in Amsterdam. The guys got more gigs when they started flyering at other schools. Now these two 17-year olds manage to get a crowd of over 300 to every Mousse party they throw and are eager to make this number even higher.

The Indonesian firm handles Web, print, logo, multimedia assignments and design consulting, and has earned Bellamy a spot on BusinessWeek’s Asian ‘Best Entrepreneurs under 25′ list. Having a dad doing technological-related jobs gave Bellamy the chance to get his hands on a computer for the first time at the tender age of 4. Now, Bellamy has his dad working for him.

Now she’s still only 16 years old, but that doesn’t stop her from getting her work into big magazines as Elle Girl, Yes and Teen Magazine. She even spotted her design on superstar Brandy.

Nina Valkhoff: Creatief op Commando

Nina Valkhoff (24) can probably turn anything into a wonderful piece of art, just by picking up her brush. Take a toilet seat. She can make you one on demand, turning your toilet into one of the best looking places in your house. She’s had her seats, wall paintings and jewelry displayed in several magazines and ads and is working very hard to create even more. She currently lives in Germany, but luckily we were still able to get in tough with here.
