The SecretThe DVD The Secret has become a huge hit. It started as an underground hit, promoted by word of mouth, but has had increased success after Oprah Winfrey devoted no less than two shows entirely to this DVD. I only watched this DVD today, and did not know what to expect at all. It turned out to be quite interesting and familiar.

The Secret is not a story to promote religion or to win members for some cultural sect. It just tells us how to use the Law of Attraction to create whatever it is you want. People tend to focus their thoughts on everything they don’t want or on reinforcing what they’re already getting. You think ‘I don’t want to be late’, instead of what you do want ‘I want to be on time’. You should stay focussed on what it is you desire in life, no matter how big or impossible it might sound at this time. All you have to do is Ask, Believe and Receive. Visualize having it. Recent brain imaging tests show that imagining doing something is almost exactly the same to the brain (and the body) as actually doing something.

What’s very interesting to me is that without even knowing it, probably most of us use this law of attraction. Maybe that’s just because we’ve all already read the ‘Positive Thinking’ books that were hyped throughout the years before.

The Secret is very easy to understand and nice to watch. The graphics make you feel like you’re watching the DaVinci Code. What I also love about the DVD is that presenters don’t really try to sell anything to their viewer. There is nothing you’re ordered to buy to get the success you’ve been looking for. They simply give you an explanation of the steps you need to follow, and what you do with this is up to you.

I think it’s a great DVD and I can highly recommend it to anyone who’s ready for some personal development. Never hurts to give it a try. Especially not for those 30 dollars, as you might end up receiving a lot more than that.

Thanks to The Secret.
